Oh this poor little blog... goes months and months of neglect. Yet it is always in the back of my mind. But unfortunately for it, the blog is about the last thing on the priority list right now (right next to scrubbing bathrooms)!


Little miss Kate Nicole joined our family March 5, 2013. And oh my heart just melts when I have a newborn. Those first couple weeks are by far my favorite age of any! So sweet and precious! But sadly those newborn days just never hang around long enough and before you know it your baby is three months old, all in the blink of an eye! Oh I have a lump in my throat just writing that.

We experienced a bout of colic for the first 6 weeks or so. I'm not gonna lie, It was a little rough. But through some divine help we made it through and she is now feeling so much better! And we are sure enjoying our little angel! She is full of smiles and learning to make sounds now. And just like all the others... I'm pretty sure she loves daddy the most (I really don't blame her... I kinda like him too ;) )

This past month has been busy with a trip to Utah to meet my newest nephew, Maddox and see the rest of my wonderful family. Celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary. Trying to save the lives of our two new kitties from 3 crazy kids! Wrapping up the end of preschool for Macy. A set of stitches for Brielle. Trying to keep up with the busiest boy I know. And loving on the cutest chubbiest cheeks around!!!

And so we are adjusting to life as a family of SIX!

And if I could share the biggest parenting lesson I have learned this month is don't EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, EVER EVER EVER take all 4 kids by yourself to get immunizations. But that's a story for another day, that you will most likely not hear, because it is just too painful to relive the memory!!!

And we are now looking forward to the lazy days of summer... Swimming, family reunions, BBQ's and sleeping in (yeah right!).
